3. After graduating from the Mechanical Engineering Institute in Kurgan, Yuri decided to pursue a creative career. For this, it was required to obtain a detachment from the distribution in the engineering industry and permission to receive a second higher education from the Ministry of Culture. Neither the institute nor the ministry could resist the pressure of Galtsev.
4. Yuri successfully passed the entrance exams at GITIS, but after another he went to try his luck at the Leningrad Institute of Theater of Music and Cinematography. In Leningrad, the future pop star liked it more.
5. Even before graduating from the institute, Galtsev, like most of his classmates, including Gennady Vetrov, worked in the Leningrad Buff Theater. The theater was popular not only in Leningrad. After a brilliantly performed number, which made the audience gasp with laughter, many predicted the Grand Prix for the young duo. However, Alla Pugacheva, who participated in the jury, called the comedians "too young" and pushed through another candidate.
10. The song “Wow, we came out of the bay” was born in Gelendzhik after Galtsev and one of his colleagues admired the beautiful view of the sea bay.
11. Having attended one of Yuri Galtsev's performances in Germany, the famous clown Oleg Popov presented the artist with his tie as a sign of respect.
12. When Yuri Nikolaevich was appointed head of the Variety Theater, it was in ruin - the last time the repairs were done during the life of Arkady Raikin.
