Igor (Garik) Ivanovich Sukachev (born 1959) - Soviet and Russian rock musician, poet, composer, film actor, theater and film director, screenwriter, TV presenter. Frontman of the groups "Sunset manually" (1977-1983), "Postscript (P.S.)" (1982), "Brigade S" (1986-1994, from 2015) and "The Untouchables" (1994-2013). Biography of Sukachev

Garik Sukachev was born on December 1, 1959 in the village of Myakinino (Moscow region). He grew up in a simple working-class family that has nothing to do with show business.

Childhood and youth

Garik Sukachev speaks of his childhood with warmth and a certain nostalgia.

His father, Ivan Fedorovich, worked as an engineer in a factory, and also played the tuba in a factory orchestra. He went through the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) from Moscow to Berlin, showing himself to be a brave warrior.

Sukachev's mother, Valentina Eliseevna, was sent to a concentration camp during the war. A fragile 14-year-old girl had to build a road, dragging huge boulders.

Over time, Valentina escaped from the camp with her friend. During the escape, her friend died, while she managed to escape from the Germans. As a result, she ended up in a partisan detachment, where she mastered the profession of a miner.

Garik Sukachev was proud of his parents. During his school years, he was complex about his surname, but did not want to change it out of great respect for his father.

In early childhood, Garik mastered playing the button accordion. Noticing talent in his son, Sukachev Sr. decided to make him a professional musician.

The head of the family sent Garik to a music school, and also forced him to devote several hours a day to rehearsals.

In an interview, the musician admitted that during that period of his biography, he looked with disgust at both the button accordion and the music school. However, it was only years later that he realized that he had received an excellent education.

After receiving the certificate, Garik entered the Moscow Technical School of Railway Transport. At that time he studied quite well and even took part in the design of the Tushino railway station.

Nevertheless, most of all Sukachev was still fascinated by music. As a result, he decided to continue his studies at the Lipetsk cultural and educational school, which he graduated in 1987.

Music

Garik founded his first collective, "Manual Sunset of the Sun", at the age of 18. After that, together with Yevgeny Khavtan, he formed the rock group Postscriptum (P.S.), releasing the album "Cheer up!"

While studying at the Lipetsk school, Sukachev met Sergei Galanin. It was with him that he decided to create the famous group "Brigade S".

In a fairly short period of time, the musicians have gained a certain popularity. During that period, such famous songs were written as "My Little Baby", "The Man in the Hat", "The Tramp" and "The Plumber".

In 1994, "Brigade C" broke up, as a result of which each of its members continued their solo careers.

Soon Sukachev assembles a new team, which he calls - "The Untouchables." The most popular are the compositions "Behind the Window the Month of May" and "I Recognize the Darling by His Walk."

In the period 1994-1999, the musicians recorded 3 albums, which were attended by such hits as "I am staying", "Brel, walk, walk" and "Give me water".

The next 2 discs will be released in 2002 and 2005. The band delighted their fans with regular hits, including "What the Guitar Sings About", "My Grandmother Smokes a Pipe", "The Smallest Sound" and "Freedom to Angela Davis".

2005 saw the release of Garik Sukachev's solo album Chimes. In 2013, the rocker presented a new solo album "Sudden Alarm Clock".

Films

In the movie Garik first appeared in 1988. He got a cameo role in the Soviet-Japanese film "Step". In the same year, the artist starred in the films The Defender of Sedov and The Lady with a Parrot, continuing to play secondary characters.

In 1989, Sukachev, together with the group "Brigada S", starred in the drama "Tragedy in the style of rock".

This film is unique in that it was one of the first Soviet films, which contained shocking naturalistic scenes of personality degradation under the influence of drugs.

After that, Garik almost every year starred in various television projects, including musicals. The most significant roles he got in the films "Fatal Eggs", "Sky in Diamonds", "Holiday" and "Attraction".

In addition to acting, Sukachev reached certain heights in the directing field.

His debut tape was called Midlife Crisis. It starred such famous actors as Ivan Okhlobystin, Dmitry Kharatyan, Mikhail Efremov, Fedor Bondarchuk and Garik Sukachev himself.

Personal life
