Konstantin Kinchev was born on December 25, 1958 in Moscow. He grew up and was raised in an educated family.

Childhood and youth

Initially, Konstantin played in little-known bands. Later, under the authorship of "Doctor Kinchev and the Style group", the guy recorded his first solo disc, "Nervous Night".
The work of the young rocker did not go unnoticed, as a result of which he was offered to become a soloist of the Leningrad band "Alisa".
Soon the collective presented the album "Energy", with such hits as "Experimenter", "Melomaniac", "My Generation" and "We Are Together". According to official figures, the circulation of the records exceeded 1 million copies, which corresponds to the platinum status in the USA.
In 1987, the release of the second disc "Block of Hell" took place, which was attended by the super hit "Red on Black".
Soon, the musicians were accused of promoting fascism and hooliganism. Konstantin Kinchev was repeatedly arrested, but released each time.
The leader of "Alice" went to the courts, where he proved his innocence and demanded from the publishing houses that wrote about his Nazi inclinations, an official apology for slander.
These events were reflected in some of the group's songs that are present on the albums "The Sixth Forester" and "Art. 206 h. 2 ". The political theme was raised in such compositions as "Totalitarian Rap", "Shadow Theater" and "Army of Life".
In 1991, the musicians released the disc "Shabash" dedicated to the tragically deceased Alexander Bashlachev. An interesting fact is that the disc "Black Mark" was dedicated to the memory of the guitarist of "Alisa" Igor Chumychkin, who committed suicide.
In the upcoming presidential elections, Kinchev and other members of the group supported Boris Yeltsin's candidacy. The group performed on the Vote or Lose tour, urging Russians to vote for Yeltsin.
It is curious that the leader of the DDT collective, Yuri Shevchuk, harshly criticized Alisa, accusing the musicians of corruption. In turn, Konstantin said that he supported Boris Nikolayevich solely to prevent the revival of communism in Russia.
During the biography of 1996-2001. Kinchev, together with his comrades, published 4 discs: "Jazz", "Fool", "Solstice" and "Dance". Two years later, the famous album "Now is later than you think" was released, with hits such as "Motherland" and "Sky of the Slavs".
