Verification always means checking the correctness and quality of all stages of production.
For example, when assembling the cabinet, the presence of the appropriate elements (shelves, facades, fasteners, fittings) and how correctly the installation of the cabinet is carried out in relation to the presented instructions is checked.
Today, in addition to the term "verification", one can often hear such a word as - validation. The latter concept means a comprehensive check of the product by the customer himself.
The same cabinet will be validated only after the customer tests it and finds it fit for further use. This may take some time to ensure the quality of the product.
Thus, validation is testing a product for a physical component during its transfer to a customer, while verification is the same testing, but documented on paper, for compliance with the presented characteristics.
In simple terms, verification confirms that "you have created a product the way you planned to make it."
